We have never hidden who we are, we both feel that this is counter productive and is not helpful.

Hello, I'm Tony Smith. My photography journey started in 1997 with the birth of my eldest daughter, and I wanted to be able to take a decent photograph of her. My style and ability has grown and developed since then. I started shooting landscapes, but in 2012 I moved over to shooting with models.
In that time I have taken part in over 320 photo shoots, achieved publications in several international magazines, and really settled into something I enjoy.

I quickly became aware of wrong doings within this industry, and was regularly approached by friends and models asking for advice and help, which I freely gave. But as time went on, I found that this was a much further spread problem than I could have dreamed of. From this realision, Safe Model was born. I really wanted a sounding board, someone to discuss things with and help me with this idea, and Bekah was my first choice. We started with a Facebook page, grew into a private discussion group and now this Website.

Our aim was never to name and shame people, but we do want to education creatives in how to be safe.
